Community Resources
Trafficking
Provide a comprehensive overview of sex trafficking, including Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC).
Gain an understanding of the recruiting tactics of traffickers, challenges to breaking free, and the services available to victims and survivors will be discussed.
Re-Entry
The benefit of the re-entry program would be to provide resources to get ex-offenders the tools they need to rebuild their lives, such as:
1. Introduction to job training programs
2. GED classes
3. Mentoring programs
4. Educational and Entrepreneurial opportunities (how to get started in business)
5. Overcoming Barriers to employment and how to answer the question, "Have you ever been incarcerated?).
6. Getting past the stigma
"Incarceration is not the end, re-entry to society is a chance to start over and get it right. We want to help them with the tools, resources, and partnerships".
