Maya criss, CCMA, CNA

Maya Criss is a dynamic changemaker whose journey began at just 14 years old when she launched her business, BaNue (Beauty In You)—a mission-driven brand rooted in self-worth, wellness, and empowerment. As a teen entrepreneur, TEDxYouth presenter, and anti-bullying advocate, Maya quickly became a voice for her generation, using her platform to uplift others and spark meaningful change.

Today, Maya is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medication Technician, currently pursuing a degree in Public Health Administration. Her passion for people shines through her 2025 initiative, Plate Full of Hope, which has already provided meals to over 100 homeless individuals in the Richmond area. With a long-term vision to offer healthy food, accessible healthcare, and holistic resources, Maya continues to live out the BaNue mission—helping others not only live better, but feel better from the inside out.
